What is available in Merthyr Tydfil to support you and your child?

There are two established Welsh Medium Primary Schools 

Ysgol Rhyd- y-Grug

Ysgol Santes Tudful 

Ysgol Santes Tudful are also overseeing the setting up of a third Welsh medium school in the North of the County

For secondary provision all children transfer to Ysgol Gyfun Rhydywaun in RCT 

What about supporting the family if they don’t speak Welsh?

There are lots of opportunities to learn Welsh and we work very closely with Learn Welsh Glamorgan
